Sony has officially pulled back the curtain on its upcoming PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for October. Ranging from high-octane racing to tense extraction combat and blocky arcade destruction, subscribers are getting a diverse trio of titles starting next month.
What's Included in October
The October lineup features three distinct titles tailored for different playstyles:
- F1 25: Dive into the official video game of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship. Build your legacy in Career or My Team 2.0 modes, or take the competition online with squad-based racing in F1 World.
- Hunt: Showdown 1896: Test your survival skills in this unforgiving extraction shooter. Fight ruthless monsters and rival hunters solo or with up to two teammates to claim bounties in corrupted backwaters.
- Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2: Assemble a squad of four soldiers from various EDF eras and spin-offs. Battle massive voxel-based enemies in four-player online co-op or two-player local split-screen.
These titles will be available to claim starting Tuesday, October 6, through Monday, November 2.
Last Chance for September Games
Before the new drop arrives, subscribers still have a brief window to grab the September games. You have until Monday, October 5, to add Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life, and Chained Echoes to your digital libraries.
Spooky Season Perks and Extras
To ring in October, Sony is rolling out horror-themed in-game item bundles for various PS5 and PS4 games. Highlights include the Call of Duty: Warzone Horror Bundle on October 1, the Hunt: Showdown 1896 Starter Pack on October 6, and the Overwatch 2 Draugr Reinhardt + 5 Tier Skips Pack on October 7.
Additionally, coinciding with the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day on Sony Pictures Core on October 6, PS Plus members can claim limited-edition avatars directly in the app at no extra cost through October 20. Make sure to check your regional PlayStation Store on release day to claim your monthly rewards.
