Oasis is officially heading back to Knebworth House in September 2027, marking a monumental return to the grounds of their legendary 1996 concerts. But while nostalgia is running high, securing a spot at these highly anticipated shows will require deep pockets and meticulous travel planning.

The Price of Nostalgia: 1996 vs. 2027

Back in 1996, seeing Oasis at Knebworth cost fans a mere £22.50. Fast forward to 2027, and ticket prices reflect a very different era of live music economics:

• General Admission: £170.50
• Front Standing: £203.50
• VIP Packages: £317.50 to £513.50

Knebworth is one of the most expensive stops on the entire tour. By comparison, venues offering seated options—such as Manchester's Etihad Stadium and Glasgow's Celtic Park—start much lower, at £74.60 and £71.50 respectively.

To weed out bots and scalpers, hopeful attendees must pre-register with an email address and answer an Oasis trivia question to prove their fan status. Registered fans may receive links to purchase tickets across September 25, 26, and 27.

Why Ticketmaster Says "Do Not Drive"

Knebworth has a notorious history of post-concert gridlock. Following Robbie Williams’ 2003 shows, Queen's final concert with Freddie Mercury in 1986, and Liam Gallagher's solo return in 2022, frustrated drivers spent up to five hours just trying to exit the car park.

To prevent a logistical nightmare, Ticketmaster has issued a strict warning advising attendees not to drive to the venue. Instead, organizers are pushing alternative transit solutions:

• The 55-Minute Walk: Extra trains will run from Stevenage to London for two hours after the concerts. However, Stevenage station is two miles away from the venue, requiring a 55-minute walk along a designated, well-lit pedestrian path.
• Coaches: Direct coach packages will transport fans to Knebworth from 124 locations across England and Wales.
• Saturday Night Camping: Saturday ticket holders can camp overnight for £60 per person (parking included). The campsite will feature late-night bars and Friday night entertainment to help stagger arrivals and departures.

Who is Supporting the Tour?

So far, the only confirmed opening act is former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft, a longtime friend of the Gallagher brothers who is set to support Oasis on all 37 tour dates. While the original 1996 gigs featured iconic acts like The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers, fans are still waiting to see if more names will be added to the 2027 Knebworth lineup.
